8 YEARS AGO: ERIC BEKOE SCORED HIS DEBUT GOAL AGAINST ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK


Berekum - On 28 October 2012 matchday 5 of the 2012/13 Ghana premier league season. Before kick-off, the #Bibires of Ghana had signed former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe from PatroJet on a 2-year deal to replace Emmanuel Clottey who had move to Esperance Tunisia. Whats more Hearts of Oak and coach C.K Akunnor were hoping to avoid a third consecutive league defeat.

However, it took Eric Bekoe just 7 minutes to put the home team ahead and score his first goal in Berekum, with a fine volley after Richard Kissi Boateng first time cross found the striker unmarked in the 18-yard box, There were many unforgettable moments that day from the debut dance goal, the entire Berekum singing his name to Laif Salifu second goal to condemn Hearts of Oak to a third straight league defeat.

His debut was everything one can dream of and the striker went on to score many memorable goals. Berekum Chelsea celebrates this amazing player in our game.
